When a coach of high caliber requests for a position and then turns it down all head will be turned towards that direction. Is not it?
Yes, all the heads are turned towards the Cubs manager Joe Girardi.
On Friday, in the dream of getting a chance to manage Chicago Cubs Girardi, has reportedly turned down the Cincinnati Red’s managerial position offer. He also seems to have turned down the Rangers opening too. Now the ex-Yankees manager has narrowed it down to either gain the position to manage Chicago Cubs or get busted.
The manager has gone to an extent where he is even ready to go out of job for a year in order to secure this job.
If the Cubs perform poorly yet again in the next year, the club will have to get rid of the manager and then Girardi who will be out of job, will be the manager with high profile for the job, yet again. So the match makes sense is it not?
Let’s hope so.
