Resident Evil 3 remake is in talks and it may be in works as well. But it may turn out to be a little different from the viewers’ expectations.
Before the news about Resident Evil 7 was out, a leaker named Aesthetic Gamer revealed some details and specifications about the game which turned out to be true. This week, he has given hints about the Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Resident Evil 2 was a success for Capcom and makes sense for it to come up with another game after that. The huge sales numbers showed that the gamers are totally crazy for such polished-up retro experiences. But this time the game will not be similar to Resident Evil 2. As per the rumors, an external studio (non-Capcom) is developing Resident Evil 3 Remake.
There was also news about Resident Evil 8. Though no specifications were given, the project may be in works. Aesthetic Gamer said,
The series will be kinda “unofficially” almost annual for the next few years, though of course as game development goes anything could be delayed.
He also added that the viewers may only expect it after the next-gen is out. Capcom has not said anything about the project till now. As nothing is confirmed yet, we must not believe anything till official news is out about it.
Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi said in an interview that the fans demanded Resident Evil 2 remake and that’s how it came into being. He added that another remake won’t be possible without fans’ permission.
This totally indicates that it is all up to fans. So if you really want it, voice your opinions and make it happen.
