The fourth season of the show is confirmed to release this year. However, it was anticipated that it might come out on the April Fool’s Day, but that did not happen. Now, it appears that the show might release in late July, as for the past two seasons it has officially aired on the last Sunday of July.
However, given the fact that the show is still under production, there’s a chance that the delay may be even longer this time around! Rick and Morty Season 4 episode 1 release date is likely to be either the last Sunday of July – or sometime in Q3 2019.
Rick and Morty Season 4: Reason for Delay
One of the biggest reasons for the delay is that the show got renewed recently for 70 more episodes. This means that more episodes are likely being added which is why it took a long time. However, it is unlikely that forthcoming seasons will have such long waits between two seasons.
