Adult Swim’s Rick And Morty Season 6 aired its last episode on December 11, 2022. The finale episode of the sixth season revealed that Morty’s grandpa had begun a telepathic connection with him to save him and asked him to jump from the Sun; this might be the start of a new Vat of Acid episode.
“Rick and Morty season seven. Hunting my nemesis. Maybe trying to stay healthy while doing it juggling plates – not every episode, Morty, it could be all happening in the background. Who knows?”

What happened to the team of Rick and Morty Season 7?
Co-creator and the voice of the two main characters, Justin Roiland, was accused of Domestic Vi*lence and texting minors. So, this has set back the new Season of Rick And Morty. Roiland was immediately dropped off from the show after the charges emerged against him. Roiland, although pled “not guilty” and was dropped off from the DV charges due to the lack of evidence, still won’t be back for the next season. Several young women came forward, alleging him of sending inappropriate texts.
Rick and Morty Season 7: Release Date
Dan Harmon, the show’s creator, confirmed they started working on Season 7 around the time when Season 5 premiered, and a new cast is yet to be decided for the voices of both Rick and Morty. In one of the interviews with The Wrap, Roiland, and Harmon confirmed that Rick And Morty could go on forever and that they’ll be doing a season a year.
Rick And Morty Season 7 is confirmed to release as per the creators. The work is in progress, along with hunting a new voice cast. If everything goes well, fans can expect Season 7 latest by September 2023.
