Robert De Niro is asking people to come out and vote following the incident where bombs were mailed several prominent figures to target them for criticizing the Republicans outspokenly. De Niro said,
There’s something more powerful than bombs, and that’s your vote. People must vote!
A package was delivered to De Niro’s office which was suspicious of containing a crude pipe bomb on Thursday. The actor was glad that everyone in the office was safe and couldn’t be more thankful to the law enforcement people and security for protecting them. the security guard who gave the information was also appreciated by Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York.
The device was immediately taken to the bomb squad facility of the New York Police Department. The device was reportedly similar to other devices located in the previous 48 hours. De Blasio said that it an effort for terrorizing people through political means and manipulate them on the basis of their beliefs. It has happened before and it must be rejected instead of letting it intimidate us.
Other Democratic figures who were sent the package containing pipe bombs include Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Maxine Walters, Eric Holder George Soros and John Brennan. A suspect was arrested by the police for the attacks. Cesar Sayoc, a Florida man who is 56 years old, is suspected to be the one behind all the explosives mailed to the prominent political figures.
According to Robert De Niro, it is very important that the entire America raise their voice against such practices by casting their votes.
On Friday, a similar package was found by the law enforcement which was addressed to Senate Cory Booker. Another package was addressed to James Clapper was found at the Manhattan facility.
