After being informed by Bhagwati, the local police reached the site around 6 p.m. As reported by Inspector Dipendra Chand of Budhanilkantha Police, Tamang’s remains were subsequently taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for a forensic evaluation.
