The Justice Department of the United States has accused the Russians for interfering in the American mid-term elections. They added that collaborators of Russian president Vladimir Putin are involved in a campaign on warfare information so as to hinder the American mid-term elections, claimed the prosecutors on Friday. Further, they also claimed that the person in question is the “Chief Accountant” of the project.
The 44 year old woman in question is found to be resident of St. Petersburg, Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova. She is accused for overseeing a million dollar budget to engage in a campaign that propagates doubt and suspicion for the American candidates and the political system of the United States among the citizens of the United States.
Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova has managed various million dollar establishments owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, who was also known as “Chief of Putin”. Earlier in February, he was also impeached on charges for his interference in the presidential elections of 2016 by Robert S. Mueller III, along with 13 others.
Khusyaynova used the money managed by investing in social media ads in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social networking sites, purchasing internet domains and doing social media news promotions to create suspicion in the minds of the citizens of the United States.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia was seen to have making efforts to sabotage the political campaign of the then nominee, now president of the United States, Donald Trump for a year naming it Project Lakhta. This year, the American intelligence found the connivers posting various posts topics of American political system like women, guns, relationship with races, immigration and also the debate on the protests during the National Anthem by the players of National Football League.
The prosecutors also accused that this time the those trolls did not limit themselves and often put out their views on both liberal and conservative position which was a formulated strategy to attract the American audiences and to divide them with regards to their opinions on the political systems of the United States.
In Virginia, impeached Khusyaynova and pressed charges against her conspiring against the United States government and also under fraud for her activities.
The Russian conspiracy campaigns earlier were famous or rather infamous for their clumsy posts on Facebook from Internet Research Agency, a wing of the Lakhta project which was held as a media hindrance campaign during the presidential elections of 2016 which mostly had bad language and writing style and sometimes also held bizarre cultural references.
But, unlike the previous project, this time the current project appears to have a clear objective and also looks more professional in terms of disclosing the American political campaigns and also posted content on John McCain, former Senator of the Republican party of Arizona as an “anti-Trump geezer”, who was often seen partnering up with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, prior to his demise in August. Also, Paul D. Ryan, speaker was in their words called as “an absolute nobody.”
