Magic Mike’s Last Dance is now in theatres!
Although the film has received mixed reviews thus far, no one can deny the chemistry between co-stars Salma Hayek and Channing Tatum.
And it turns out that the actors almost got too close, with Salma Hayek describing how a dance rehearsal nearly saw her expose it all to Tatum.
Salma Hayek went on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (February 10) to discuss the physical aspects of her performance, and she recalled one particular moment when she nearly flashed everyone on set.
Norton commented (of Hayek’s character Maxandra): “You’re quite physical and acrobatic in it.”
Salma Hayek replied: “Oh yeah, I had to be and I was terrified. I had some choreographers, and you have to make it look easy but sometimes you need strength in your body that I don’t have because I don’t work out!”
But not everything was as simple as it appeared on the screen.

The actress described a hilarious incident with Tatum, saying: “You have to be very precise. And one time we were rehearsing, and I had to put my legs in a specific position, and I was upside down and, you know, I forgot it was coming because when you’re upside down you get very confused.
“So I was going down, head down, he tried to grab me but he grabbed my sweatpants and then I couldn’t remember if I had underwear or not. They were coming off and so I was holding on to my sweatpants, they’re like ‘Put your hands on the floor’ I’m like ‘Uh-uh, no!’ And then finally some people came to my rescue and took me but I was this close to the ground, holding on to my sweatpants for life.”
