Android Pie updates have started rolling out for Samsung Galaxy devices since November last year. There are a lot of new things and custom features in Android 9.0 Pie for Samsung phones. Most of the Samsung Galaxy mobiles have been updated to Android Pie or are under the process. After the announce of Android Q, Samsung has fast-tracked its Pie update road-map. Here are all the reports, new updates and release date for Android Pie on Samsung Galaxy devices.

Already Update devices
Samsung is one of the few companies who get custom Android Pie version and that too even before others get usual Android OS. Due to its dominance in the market, devices such as Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 were updated to Android Pie in November 2019. While the recently launched, Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ are also updated to the ninth Android OS version. Also with the last month Android Pie update, Samsung Galaxy S8 series, and the new Tab series have been also updated.
June Security updates
As for the devices which are still running on Android 8 Oreo or even the latest Android 9 Pie, there will be monthly security updates. The latest in the line is June month patch which will update the security and fixes some of the bugs. Even the older Samsung Galaxy devices, which does not support the Android Pie update due to technical limits, are receiving the monthly security updates.
New Android Pie Roadmap
Google has announced the launch of Android 10 Q around the end of this year and there are also reports for beta release for selected devices. It has made Samsung change the entire roadmap schedule for the launch of Android Pie to its mobile devices.
Samsung has made sure now to update each of its compatible Galaxy phones to be updated to Android Pie before Android Q comes out to the public. It means that all of the Samsung Galaxy devices will get Android Pie before the month of August.
