Samsung Galaxy Buds are Samsung’s reply to the Apple Airpods. While the company has tried their hand at wireless earbuds in the past – they’ve finally managed to get everything right this time! Let us take a closer look at Samsung Galaxy Buds and understand what makes the Galaxy Buds so special and unique!
Samsung Galaxy Buds vs Apple AirPods
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Buds at the Galaxy Unpacked event along with the Samsung Galaxy S10. Comparisons with Apple AirPods were bound to take place! However, while Samsung Galaxy Buds are clearly inspired by the AirPods, the company has improved on many aspects lacking in Apple’s wireless earbuds.
Two major improvements that Samsung Galaxy Buds have over Apple’s AirPods are:
- Charging Lights on the outside
- Wireless Charging
While Apple is indeed working on introducing wireless charging in the next-generation AirPods, Samsung has outperformed them here! Audio-wise, the performance is quite impressive. The Galaxy Buds come with silicon tips. This ensures that no matter your ear size, they fit you just well!
The Samsung Galaxy Buds have a battery of 58mAh (each). The case provides a battery of 252mAh. On average use, it should last you an entire day. The case, some have complained, is a little bulky. However, it is not too bulky to cause any inconvenience.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Price and Release Date
The Galaxy Buds are priced in at $129. For those who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S10, the buds come free of cost. However, that offer is now over as Samsung has sold out all the free Samsung Galaxy Buds. It is currently expected that the buds would be available for purchase once the phone goes on sale next week!
