This year, Disney+ really hit it out of the park with its choice of classic holiday movies. First, there was Hocus Pocus 2, and now, for Christmas, the streaming giant is bringing back another old favorite. Scott Calvin and a few other familiar faces are back in a new Disney+ show called The Santa Clauses. Fans will be happy to see them again.
In The Santa Clauses, Scott Calvin is back.
We haven’t been to this version of the North Pole in a long time. Scott Calvin, a former toy designer and divorced father of one, took over the role after accidentally scaring the real Santa Claus off his roof. He had trouble with his new job, but in The Santa Clause 2, he found a wife, and in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, he beat Jack Frost (Martin Short), which sounds like a lot of work. In The Santa Clauses, it’s no wonder he looks ready to give up the big red suit.
In the Disney+ show, Santa wants to put away the red suit for good.
Last month in October, Disney+ released a new trailer for The Santa Clauses. Tim Allen, who plays Santa Claus, tries to find a way to get people to believe in Christmas again. Even more so after a woman throws things at him on Christmas Eve when he comes down her chimney. He decides to retire so that he can spend Christmas with his family “for the first time ever.” It looks like it has two new kids who have grown up at the North Pole. The family decides to go hang out with regular people to see what it’s like to be like them, and everything seems to go well.
Until he finds out that he hired the wrong person to wear the Santa Claus suit. Which means he has to save Christmas once again. Plus, Bernard shows up at the end. So, of course, you should watch until the end.
The first episode of The Santa Clauses was recently available for streaming on Disney+.
The limited series dropped on Disney+ on November 16, and you may recognize some of the people in it if you haven’t watched it yet.
David Krumholtz, who plays everyone’s favorite elf, Bernard, posted an Instagram photo of himself in full Bernard gear with the caption “Miss me?” Bernard And the clear answer is yes. Charlie is played again by Eric Lloyd, and Mrs. Claus is played again by Elizabeth Mitchell.
Fans were seemingly excited for “The Santa Clauses” to come out.
Fans couldn’t be happier that The Santa Clause franchise came back, especially now that we know Bernard is back.
