Who was Shad Thyrion?
Shad Thyrion was from Green Bay, Wisconsin, and was born on September 7, 1997. His parents were Tara Pakanich and Michael Thyrion, and he had three siblings: Ava Wheelock, Cilivea Sunray Thyrion, and Beau Smith.
Shad, an artistic and multi-talented individual, was a graduate of Bay Port High School. In addition to camping, playing games, and spending time with family, he also had a passion for music and sports. He went on to work in his father and grandfather’s family business.
His obituary referred to him as
“a very kind and compassionate person who often thought of others before himself.” He was “always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.”
Shad will always be “loved by many and will be greatly missed.”
He was deeply loved and greatly missed by his beloved family. The Thyrion family was a tremendous support to Shad throughout his life, and they were devastated by his death.
He had a knack for artistry and was adept at woodworking, camping, playing video games, and treasuring quality time with his family.
Shad Thyrion was enrolled in the Howard-Suamico School District and Bay Port High School between 2010 and 2015, although he did not receive a diploma. His Facebook profile attests to his enthusiasm for music, as he often shares music video links.
How was Shad Thyrion killed?
Shad Thyrion’s life was tragically cut short when he was murdered by Taylor Schabusiness, a woman only a year his senior, whom he had met through a mutual pal, around February 22, 2022, at the age of 24.
Schabusiness was accused of strangling Shad to death in the basement of his mother’s home. She then cut off his head, sexually assaulted him, and dismembered his body.
The criminal documentation states Schabusiness picked Thyrion from his mom’s residence on the evening of February 21 around 9:30 PM. Later that same evening, they went back to the house and went downstairs.
The following day, they didn’t leave the basement. Schabusiness confessed to the authorities that she had smoked meth with Thyrion and that they had had consensual intercourse involving a chain around his throat.
Tara Pakanich, Shad Thyrion’s mother, was the one who made the call to the police after finding his decapitated head in a bucket in her basement.
Who was Taylor Schabusiness?
Reports indicate that Taylor Schabusiness was Shad’s significant other, and the two had been seeing each other for some time prior to his passing.
It is suggested that they were introduced by a shared acquaintance and had lots in common. Additionally, it is said that Shad was very content with Taylor and desired to start a family with her.
Yet, a different source claims Taylor Schabusiness was not Shad’s girlfriend, but instead his lover. The source reveals Taylor was married to someone else named Warren Schabow, and is still supported by him in spite of the homicide charges.
The source additionally mentions that Taylor had a young kid with Warren and experienced difficulties with drug use and mental health.
Legal Trial
At the age of 13, she began receiving medical assistance concerning her mental state. It was revealed in July of 2023 that she was the one who had gruesomely killed and mutilated her partner, Shad Thyrion.
After investigation and trial, the court has decided that Taylor Schabusiness is responsible for the death of her lover. She also attacked her lawyer during the trial.
She is facing allegations of first-degree intentional homicide, desecrating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault. Despite all the evidence, Taylor denied the accusations in the court. She was given the penalty of life in jail without the possibility of parole.
