The Accident on the Drive-By
On 30 December, Jazmine with her family was driving through Houston when the little kid was shot in the head.
Police have arrested Eric Black Jr (20) and he will be charged with capital murder. The hearing is set on Monday. Black said that it was the passenger sitting in the back seat of his car who opened fire.
The police has one more suspect in custody, who is already in jail on drug abuse charges.
Houston Texas all in for Jazmine
DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texas donated his playoff game cheque to the Barnes family.
He said it was to help the family with funeral costs, medical needs and to meet any other sort of basic family requirements. Hopkins left an emotional message on Twitter which read,
“That could have been anyone in my family.”
He even told his followers that he is reminded of his 5 y/o daughter whenever he comes across the picture of Jazmine.
Hopkins was about to make some $29,000 for the Wild Card game. The entire amount has been pledged off to the Barnes family.
