Someone is dating a woman who is “trapped in the body of an eight-year-old.”
When Shauna Rae was a child, she was told she had brain cancer. This meant that she had to go through chemotherapy.
Because of the treatment, her pituitary gland was hurt, which slowed her growth and led to pituitary dwarfism.
Because of this, she is only 3ft 10in tall and weighs only 50 lbs, even though she is 23 years old.
She has talked about her condition and how it has changed her life in the TLC show I Am Shauna Rae.
She also tells people about her new possible partner, Dan, who she has been seeing since he slid into her direct messages (DMs) after reading her story.
Since they started talking online, they have only seen each other in person a few times. Last year, Dan, who is from Wales, went to the US to see Shauna Rae and her family.
I haven’t actually really thought about if Dan and I were in a relationship and how that would look,
she said.
I assume that we would probably try long-distance, but I’ve been in a long-distance relationship and it’s not my cup of tea.
So, either he would have to find a settle-down place or I would have to start travelling with him.
Dan, who is 26, recently asked Shauna Rae to go with him to the wedding of a friend in Malaysia.
Even though Shauna’s parents are very protective of her, they said they think it would be great for her to go.
Dan taking Shauna out of the country, I think would be really cool,
said her stepdad.
I think she’d have a good time.
I don’t think I’d be as concerned if Shauna went on a trip with Dan because she’s with Dan.
I mean, I think the first thing he would do is protect Shauna.
Shauna Rae said that she doesn’t think they would really want her to go, even though they gave her the OK.
She said:
They probably wouldn’t let me go if it actually happened.
Shauna Rae says that she’s been on dates that didn’t go well in the past.
But now she can tell which guys just look at her as a science experiment
I’ve just developed the ability to spot someone who may not have the best intentions because they give themselves away,
she said.
Their questions are very targeted towards my physicality.
They’re learning about me like I’m a specimen in a lab.
