Sherlock Holmes 3 release date is confirmed after so many years and fans are excited to see their favorite detective return on the big screen once again. Sherlock Holmes 3 Trailer and Release Date
Sherlock Holmes 3 filming has already started and the movie is slated to release in theaters on December 22, 2021. It was originally slated to premiere in Christmas 2020 but the release date was shifted one year due to delay in production and change of director, but the Christmas release was maintained.

Guy Ritchie, who directed the first two Sherlock Holmes movies is not coming back for the threequel as he is busy in other projects such as “The Gentleman” and King Arthur sequels. Dexter Fletcher whose previous works include Rocketman will be the new director and Chris Brancato will write the script for the next installment. Sherlock Holmes 3 trailer could arrive at the start of 2021 or around six months before the theatrical release date.

Moriarty is rumored to return as the villain, while other theories says that they will introduce a totally new character to play the baddie.
