César Cuauhtémoc González Barrón, who went by the name of Silver King was a Mexican Luchador and actor who was once a regular feature on World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He passed away earlier today during a wrestling match in London. King was 51. He also worked on many other popular Wrestling organizations such as the NJPW, AJPW, AAA, CMLL and the UWA.

Silver King Dead: What Happened?
This incident happened during a Lucha Libre show at the Camden Roundhouse theater. His death happened during a match with Juventud Guerrera. He collapsed in the ring and passed away, the reason for his death was later attributed to being because of a stroke followed by a heart attack.
Onlookers continued to watch it as they thought that it was a part of his act but they were shocked when he didn’t move. Medical aid was provided instantly and an attempt to revive him via CPR failed. He was declared dead.

Life Outside Wrestling
Silver King was also popularly known as the villain in the Hollywood comedy movie Nacho Libre. He played the character of Ramses in the movie and starred opposite Jack Black.
Though he never performed for the WWE, the company tweeted out their tribute to him stating that Silver King was a Lucha Libre legend and a former WCW Star. Tributes continue to pour out from a number of wrestling organizations and wrestlers.
