Space Jam 2 production is still going on with LeBron James as the lead. It is pretty obvious that he has been trying to bring in the big names in the league for the film. But, the question is if Giannis Antetokounmpo, the new NBA MVP also in the film?
This film series is obviously considered as a classic in the basketball fans community who loved watching Looney Tunes. This is the very first live-action film where real-life basketball players starred as themselves in a fictional story. Although we still don’t know the overall story of Space Jam 2, it might follow the previous format.

Will Giannis Antetokounmpo star in Space Jam 2?
Also, this implies that Space Jam 2 is going to contain all the big names of the NBA, thanks to LeBron James. Giannis Antetokounmpo has become quite an established player in the league now. So, it is pretty weird for the fans that he is actually not in the film.
His decision to be in the film was confirmed this year; much before the 2018-19 playoffs started. Antetokounmpo has revealed that he wanted to spend more time with his family in the summers. But, the actual reason why he had not been a part of Space Jam 2 was because he does not like the Hollywood spotlight.

For now, fans can count in Laker Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul and Chris Bosh. Bosh was James’ former teammate in Miami Heat.
