While we saw him in the streets of New York in the first movie, this time, we would see his adventures in London! Many are awaiting the reviews and ratings of the movie – so let us take a closer look at it without any further ado!
Spider-Man: Far From Home Reviews
Some of the top reviewers around the world have already seen the movie in special screenings held for them. Pretty much everyone who has seen the movie has appreciated it so far! Here’s a look at what the reviewers are talking about:
- GameSpot: “The parts that work, work very, very well. But the parts that don’t tend to feel like stubbed toes or irritating splinters–not life-threatening by any means, but distracting at best and annoying at worst; like someone pulled the curtain back on the MCU’s systemic shortcomings a little too far. Still, if you can ignore that–and it’ll be easier for some than it is for others, depending on your relationship to the MCU at large–you’re in for a pretty good ride.”
- ComicBook: “It doesn’t seem like we’re swinging to any crazy conclusions in calling Spider-Man: Far From Home the best Spider-Man movie ever. Top to bottom, it is a complete moviegoing experience. It is thrilling, it is fun, it is unpredictable, and it is full of heart. Spider-Man: Far From Home is by far a home run.”
- EntertainmentTonight: “Far From Home sticks the landing, and that might be the most important thing it needed to do after an utter behemoth like Endgame. The fallout from that movie feels effortlessly worked into the fabric of the universe by the time the end credits roll here, opening Marvel’s saga up to a new beginning. And then the post-credits scenes change everything.”
Spider-Man: Far From Home Discussions
While different reviewers have had different things to say about this movie, what has really been the one common factor in all the reviews pertaining to Spider-Man’s latest cinematic adventures is the fact that it carries forward the storylines of not only the first Spider-Man movie ‘Homecoming’, but also of the fourth Avengers movie ‘Endgame’.
This is just the perfect way for Marvel to segue the MCU into a newer universe where some of the older characters have been written off. Furthermore, the chemistry between Jake Gyllenhaal (who plays Mysterio in the movie) and Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man) has been really appreciated by the viewers. There’s also a huge buzz about the end-credits scene.
I'm gonna make two bold statements here:
Spider-Man: Far From Home is the best live action Spider-Man movie ever made, beating Spider-Man 2 after 15 years.
It also has without a doubt the greatest end credits scene in recorded human history.

Spider-Man: Far From Home reminded me once again why Spider-Man is my favorite superhero. A great post-Endgame film that builds off MCU history and dramatically sets up an exciting new status quo. You will be cheering at the end. And Tom Holland is still the best Spider-Man.

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME finds Marvel taking the most storytelling risks since Iron Man 3. Set in a post Tony Stark world it’s erratic, thrilling & exciting. Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man ever & his chemistry with Zendaya is awkwardly perfect. Jake Gyllenhaal is Mysterio-us

Spider-Man: Far From Home is Sony/Marvel’s most ambitious venture yet.
We finally start to see Peter Parker get tested & put out of his comfort zone. While still dealing w/ the Endgame fallout, the Spider-cast from the comics are full frontal & give a perfect teenage love story. pic.twitter.com/4r5BNr35cu
