It was announced by Sony that Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released in July this year. The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters about three months after the release of Avengers: Endgame.

In the comics, Mysterio aka Quentin Beck is a special effects expert who uses illusion and tricks to use it for crime. He initially convinced Spider-Man that he’s very powerful and later developed hallucinogenic techniques to create illusions on enemies.
He’s one of Spider-Man’s oldest foes and a popular member of rogues’ gallery. This is why many fans are shocked to see him as a hero in Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer.
