Stephen Curry being confident
Before winning the MVP award for the second time, Curry was asked in an interview about being the best player in the NBA, Curry expressed his belief of being the best in the league and the confidence was quite evident.
In my mind, yes. That’s how I have confidence out there that I can play at a high level every night. I don’t get into debates, arguing with people about why I am versus somebody else. I feel like anybody who’s at the level I’m trying to be at, if you don’t think that when you’re on the floor, then you’re doing yourself a disservice.
Golden State Warriors historic season
Golden State Warriors are never going to forget the 2016 season, and it was a kind of magical season for them. They broke the Chicago Bull’s record of winning 72 games in a season (1995-96) and went on to win 73 games in that season. Curry led the Warriors in that season and gained a lot of fanbase after his great performance in that season.
Stephen winning back-to-back MVP awards in 2014-15 and 2015-16 was a statement of the arrival of a new star in the NBA. He proved his skills and hard work and got his much-deserved MVP. In 2015 Stephen Curry averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in 80 games and won his first MVP award and went on to win the next unanimously in 2016. Steph has gathered a lot of attention with his excellent performance and stats in the past.
There is a group of NBA fans who believe that Steph is one of the greatest shooting point guards in NBA history. The debate between him and Magic Johnson for being the greatest point guard is a kind of interesting discussion that keeps making rounds on social media.
