Stephen Curry’s blunder in the last minutes of the game cost heavily to Golden State Warriors as they lost the game to the Nuggets. The Warriors took the lead of 13 points after the third quarter but in the final quarter they failed miserably, and Nikola Jokic once again stood up for the Denver Nuggets and led his team to win.
Warriors in the Clutch
Steph’s failure in the clutch has been pointed out from time to time. Not just Steph, but the GSW in general have failed to excel in the clutch if we look at the record. This year Stephen Curry has kind of improved his stats in that area but still, there is more need for improvements.
Stephen Curry about the GSW
When asked about the loss against the Denver Nuggets, Steph admitted that they did not play well. His turnover in the last minutes was one of the reasons that the game slipped from the Warrior’s hand.
“We haven’t established an identity and that’s on us to do that, Good teams know who they are, they find ways to win and they do it consistently and we haven’t checked any of those boxes so we cannot call us a god team until we do it,” Steph said when asked about the failure in the clutch.

One of the main players of the GSW, Klay Thompson has not been good this year. He missed a few games due to an on-court fight with an opponent, and after the return, he still seems to be struggling. The duo of Klay and Steph used to be deadly and have won it for their team multiple times in the past but now their magic seems to be fading.
Can the return of Draymond Green bring major changes to the GSW?
Draymond Green has been missing out on games due to suspension for being involved in on-court fights with opponents. His return date has not been disclosed yet but fans believe that his return can make a great difference for the struggling Warriors. Green has only played 15 games this season, his suspension is also one of the reasons behind the GSW failures. After the return of Green, the Warriors will come to their full strength and do better than what they have been doing.
