Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who used to be a DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” killed himself on Tuesday, a source confirmed. He was 40.
Sources in law enforcement said that Boss’ body was found in a Los Angeles hotel room after his wife, Allison Holker, yelled that he had left the house without his car, which was not like him.
It looks like he shot himself in the head and killed himself.
Reps for Boss didn’t answer a source’s request for comment right away.
Boss started DJing on the “Ellen” show in 2014, and he did so until the end of the show in 2022. In 2020, DeGeneres, who is 64, made him one of the show’s top producers.
In 2008, he got his start in show business when he came in second place on “So You Think You Can Dance.” After he got the part on “Ellen,” Boss started hosting events and was also in “Magic Mike XXL.”
On December 10, 2013, the well-known dancer married Holker. They recently celebrated nine years of marriage.
It’s our 9th anniversary!! I couldn’t be more grateful to celebrate this perfect magical day!!! Saying YES to @sir_twitch_alot has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life!!
Holker captioned an Instagram tribute to her late husband.
I feel so blessed and loved!! I love you baby and I will never take you or OUR love for granted! I LOVE YOU #happyanniversary#bosswedding2013.
His wife and their three children, Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3, are the ones who he is survived by.
