Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s wife posted a video of their last dance together on Instagram just two days before she got the sad news that her husband had died.
On December 14, news came out that Boss had died at the age of 40, and his wife of nine years, Allison Holker, spoke about him.
A source said that on December 13, Holker went to an LAPD station because he was worried about Boss’s safety after noticing that Boss had left his house without his car, which was not like him.
Then, it was said that the police were called to a Los Angeles hotel where the body of the dead TV star had been found. It’s said that the TV star had killed himself.
Watch as tWitch dances with his wife for the last time:
Boss started working as a DJ on Ellen DeGeneres’s talk show in 2014. Two years later, in 2020, he was made the show’s executive producer. He stayed in that position until the end of the show in 2022.
In 2008, he first became known for his dancing skills on the show So You Think You Can Dance. Since then, he has been in a number of TV shows and movies, including Step Up and Magic Mike XXL, among others.
Just days before his death, Boss appeared to be in good spirits as he danced to Alicia Keys’ song “December Back 2 June” with his 34-year-old wife
The caption that was put under the video that Holker posted on her page is as follows:
HOLIDAY SUNDAY FUNDAY DANCE !!! With my lover @sir_twitch_alot.
A few days before he died, he and his wife had just celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary. They wrote sweet things about each other on each other’s Instagram accounts to show how much they loved each other.
Happy anniversary my love @allisonholker #9 years
Holker was putting together a slideshow video of their 2013 wedding while Boss was writing in his post. In the video, she promised not to “take their love for granted” ever again.
It’s our 9th anniversary!! I couldn’t be more grateful to celebrate this perfect magical day!!! Saying YES to @sir_twitch_alot has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life!! I feel so blessed and loved!!
she wrote in her caption.
Ellen DeGeneres, who is 64 years old, also paid tribute to her lifelong friend and fellow cast member on her Instagram page after hearing about his death.
She then posted a picture of the two of them holding each other on set and wrote the following to her followers:
I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.
Boss is survived by his wife and three children: Weslie, who is 14, Maddox, who is 6, and Zaia, who is 3. A source made Holker’s heartfelt statement about his friend’s death public.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and the light was everything to him,
she wrote.
He was the backbone of our family, the best husband, and father, and an inspiration to his fans,
she continued.
To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory.
Holker also included a heartfelt message for her husband in the last part of her statement. Here’s what she wrote:
Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.
At first, it seemed like tWitch had killed himself, and the coroner later confirmed that this was the case. In a statement that the source got from the police, it was confirmed that he killed himself by shooting himself in the head and that he died at a motel in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner says that the investigation into the death is over and that the case is now closed.
We are keeping his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers during this very hard time.
