Why would the Mavericks like to sign Steven Adams?
The Mavericks are trying to sign a big man at the center position. Clint Capela would have been on their mind, but he would be expensive and that is why they are targeting Adams. He is a brilliant pick-and-roll finisher and rim protector. Doncic and Adams would be a duo to watch out for.

Why would the Grizzlies let Steven Adams go?
The Grizzlies are getting Green who would be a good replacement for Brooks. They are also putting their faith in Brandon Clarke and Xavier Tilman. Steven’s departure would give them some space in the salary cap and if Green manages to fit in, the Grizzlies would be over the moon.
