Suicide Squad reboot or sequel or part 2 are the different variations of the movie title. While many people are calling it James Gunn’s Suicide Squad, an official title has been registered. As per IMDb, the movie is officially titled as ‘The Suicide Squad (2021)’ and there are also chances that it may change in the future.
Most of the reports on Suicide Squad 2 being a reboot or sequel clashes with each other, although James Gunn has said that it will be a soft reboot as some characters from previous movies will make a comeback.

Suicide Squad 2 is currently under filming and James Gunn himself has given updates on the shooting schedule. Warner Brothers have given The Suicide Squad release date as August 6, 2021, which is final for the moment. Suicide Squad 2 Reboot Plot
Suicide Squad 2 plot will be more or less the same as the previous one where the villains with an explosive device in their necks are sent on a dangerous suicide mission. Some of the rumors say that the group will be sent to retrieve Rick Flag’s character from Kandahar and they will run into Black Adam, although it is hard to say anything at this point.
