In 2011, a very smart person running away from the police accidentally got a job interview at a famous law company called Pearson Hardman. The company is in New York City. Even though he was not really a Harvard graduate, he was very good at legal stuff, so he got the job.
This is how the TV show Suits started. It’s about the friendship of two guys named Mike Ross and Harvey Specter. They did lots of exciting things together in nine seasons. They solved problems with bad people, like liars and unfair bosses. The show also had a lot of other interesting things happening, like fights between friends and complicated romances.
Suits became really popular around the world because many people watched it on Netflix and Peacock. People want to know if there will be a Season 10 of Suits and when it will come out. We have some information about that.
Will there be a Season 10 of the TV show Suits?
The show first ended after its ninth season in 2018 because not many people were watching it. A spinoff called Pearson was also made but didn’t last long. But now, since Suits is available on Netflix and many people are watching it there, some people want more episodes. There’s a small possibility that the show might come back.
In a talk with TVLine, the person in charge, Gene Klein, said,
“You know, I’ve mentioned to Aaron [Korsh] that I keep, in this era of reboots and reunions and all this other stuff, that I’m expecting a call at some point”
“But I’m not aware of any serious conversations. It’s just one of those things where, in this day and age, you wouldn’t be surprised if somebody called you someday. But so far, nothing that I’m aware of.”
The person in charge, Aaron Korsh, doesn’t seem very excited about the idea. But he did say that if many people really want it and he can get all the actors back for a tenth season, he might think about bringing the show back.
He wrote,
“Let me say right off that there is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works. Strike would have to end, some network or streamer would have to reach out and then we would have to collectively want to. Which is no small thing”.
If you still want more of the TV show Suits, there are two versions made again in different countries. One is in Korea and has 16 episodes, and the other is in Japan with two seasons.
Is there a release date for Suits Season 10?
No, there isn’t a date for Suits Season 10 yet. This is because it hasn’t been announced, and it might not happen at all. If they decide to make another season, it will take time because of strikes by the people who write the show and act in it. We’ll tell you if we find out anything new.
Who might be in Suits Season 10?
It’s hard to know who will be in Suits Season 10. We think Gabriel Macht and Sarah Rafferty will probably come back as their characters Harvey Specter and Donna Paulsen. Rick Hoffman might also return as Louis Litt. But it depends on what the new season’s story will be.
Meghan Markle, who played Rachel Zane, probably won’t be in Season 10. After she married Prince Harry, she hasn’t been in any movies or TV shows since 2016, and that’s why she left Suits.
Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross, left after Season 7 when Meghan Markle was also leaving. He said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter,
“After seven seasons – really, eight years of being away from home and away from my now-wife [Troian Bellisario] and there was that pressure.
“I started thinking about leaving at the end of the first half of Season 6, after Mike was released from prison. From a story point of view, I was a little unsure of what was left for him to do. Mike had made the pledge during his trial that if he were allowed to continue to practice the law, he would dedicate his time and energy to underrepresented people and not big, corporate interests. I wasn’t sure how we were going to work that version of the character into the fabric of the show.”
“Aaron Korsh and I talked about it and he pitched this idea of Harvey offering a one-for-one deal that would keep Mike working at the firm so he could gather the resources to go and do more pro-bono cases. That brought up an interesting Season 7. And I’m proud of how this season turned out.”
Gina Torres might come back as Jessica Pearson, even though her character got in trouble and went into Chicago politics. We don’t know how she would come back to the main show.
What could happen in Season 10 of Suits?
In the end of the series, Donna and Harvey got married and went to Seattle to work with Mike and Rachel. They were going to sue big companies. So, we could continue from there. The problem is Meghan Markle’s character. We’re not sure if they will find a new actor to keep the story going. It’s unlikely, though.
Another idea is to follow Louis as the boss of the law firm Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett. Maybe he would find a new person to teach, like Mike Ross. Or we might just see how he manages the company while Samantha, Alex, and Katrina work on new cases.
Surprisingly, Korsh has already thought about making a show about Louis and other ideas, as mentioned by Klein,
“There were numerous ideas for spinoffs that we mostly just sort of fantasized about. Like, Aaron and I would sit around and go, ‘What about this? What about that?’”
“Obviously, there was a Louis Litt-themed one. There were lesser characters who [Aaron] had spinoff ideas for, ideas that would be prequels where it’d be a younger version of, like, an ancillary character. Really interesting, fun ideas that we never took anywhere.”
Klein said that in the end, it will depend on Korsh. He explained,
“Suits is 100% Aaron Korsh, so in order for anything to happen, Aaron would have to want to do it. I knew, in the immediate aftermath of writing nine seasons, he was eager to write other things. But I also know how much he loves these characters”.
