Suits Season 9 will finally release and now fans are waiting for the final release date. USA Network announced that Suits Season 9 will release in January. They have also announced that Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) will have a spin off series called Pearson.
The journey of Suits
Suits made its debut in 2011. The story revolved around a prestigious New York law firm called Pearson Hardman. Since then the name of the law firm changed and so did the series. And now it is finally coming to an end.
It started off with ace lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams) as his associate. The show then spends the initial phases creating and establishing the chemistry between the two. Slowly, Mike’s secret starts coming to light and things become twisted. Ultimately, Mike goes to jail and the firm almost comes on a verge to shut down.
But Mike’s prison time and following incidents leads to him leaving the firm with his wife, Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle). Both of their roles end by the end of season 7.
What is the release date for Suits Season 9?
Suits Season 9 will be officially released by USA Network. And Suits Season 9 will have only 10 episodes instead of 16 ones in the previous ones. This will allow the show to get wrapped in a proper manner. And this can also allow Suits Season 9 cast to escalate into the spin off series, Pearson. Season 9 is expected to release around mid-July 2019.
What will be Suits spin-off Pearson story about?
Jessica Pearson had resigned from the firm and decided to move to Chicago with her boyfriend, Jeff Malone (David Bryan Woodside). However, she had an on and off appearance in Suits where she used to provide intel to her former colleagues. In the spin off, we will actually come to know about her further plans. Pearson would probably release along with Suits Season 9.
Will Suits Season 10 happen?
Three major characters, Jessica Pearson, Mike Ross and Rachel Zane had left the showing before the previous season. After that, Suits introduced Katherine Heigl (Samantha Wheeler) and brought back Amanda Shull (Katrina Bennett). The firm also had a merger with Robert Zane’s firm. Suits Season 8 started off with fairly steady ratings. But, after its return from the winter hiatus, the ratings have dropped significantly. And after Suits Season 9 being the final one, we need to think about the slim chances of a season 10.
Mike Ross’ and Harvey Specter’s partnership was one of the main highlights of the show. It was a surprise at the show continued to air even after Markle and Adams left. The show has tried to hold its ground with the unsure dynamic between Donna and Harvey. But, even that doesn’t seem to hold the ground. But all that is in the past. Let’s wait for Suits Season 9 and hope for a couple of surprise returns!
