USA Network has made an official announcement that Suits Season 9 will be the finale season of the show. Suits has been a fan favorite since its initial days. The cast and crew of the show got emotional that it’s coming to an end.
Show’s creator Aaron Korsh said,
Though I know it isn’t true, it seems like only yesterday USA Network took a chance on an unestablished writer’s very first hour-long script. These days that’s a common thing, but forty-seven years ago when I first wrote the Untitled Korsh Project, nobody did it.
Korsh also thanked the Suits Season 9 fans for their dedication to the show. He was glad that the audience stuck with them through thick and thin. USA Network President Chris McCumber that the show has played an instrumental role in their network for almost a decade. He thanked Aaron Korsh and the entire team of suits for all the hard work they have put in the show.
Suits Season 1 released back in 2011 and it has been a wonderful ride since then. From all the blackmails and dramatic exits, not to forget the pulse racing romance, the show has got it all. Here’s all about the finale season of the show!
Who will you see in Season 9 of Suits?
Almost all the cast regulars are expected to be back for the finale season. This means that the fans will get another opportunity to cherish their favorite characters including Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), Alex Williams (Dule Hill) and Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman).
The role of Samantha Wheeler will be played by Katherine Heigl. She became a partner of Pearson Specter Litt in the previous season. Meghan Markle was last seen in Suits Season 7 followed by rumors that she may return to reprise her role. However, Korsh refused to make any comments on the subject. He said,
As of this minute, I don’t know which of our old original cast will be back and which won’t because we’re so early in the season. I can tell you that those things in the papers, I have no idea what they’re talking about.
How many Episodes of Suits Season 9?
The finale season will only have ten episodes. This season is going to be the shortest one till date. There were twelve episodes in the first season of Suits, followed by sixteen episodes in the subsequent seasons.
Is the trailer of Season 9 out yet?
Sadly, there is no teaser trailer out yet. The eight season of the show is in full swing. This means the fans wouldn’t get to see the trailer of the next season anytime soon.
Will Mike Ross make a comeback in Suits Season 9?
Korsh has talked about it before as well. Even though there are slim chances of Meghan’s return, her on screen husband Patrick J Adams may return. Korsh said that he should fit in the right place for the story to continue smoothly.
When will Season 9 release?
Till now, every season of the show has premiered either on June or July annually. So the finale season might also release during summers this year.
