Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, known for his many defeating hits in Bollywood has committed suicide. He was found dead hanging from the ceiling fan on Sunday afternoon, June 14, 2020. Yes, it was devastating. Everyone is shocked by his demise.
Sushant Singh Rajput was among the promising and hardworking actors. Sushant has gained popularity from the movie M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story. Though his debut movie is Kai Po Che that hit the theaters in February 2013.
The reason behind Sushant’s suicide is still unknown. There is no clue provided by his family members, friends, and his colleagues from the film industry yet. The report from the sources says that he has left no suicidal letter at his Bandra Home (West) in Mumbai.
Gosh! He’s just 34 years old. What could have made him take such a step of ending his life? This talented actor was survived by his father and two sisters, he is the youngest among all. His father, Mr. K K Singh is a government officer. One of his two sisters is a state-level cricketer.

Police are investigating the matter as a case of suicide and the decision is still yet to come. Depression is the reason which is believed to have made Sushant think of ending his life. Was he so lonely in his personal life? Or because of his relationship failures. Abhishek Trimukhe, DCP(Zone 9) from Mumbai has informed the media that they did not found anything suspicious in this case. And are waiting for the lab reports from the Cooper hospital where the post mortem is carrying out.
His last movie is Drive opposite Jacqueline Fernandes, which was released on an OTT platform earlier this year.

Sushant’s rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has not given any statement regarding the demise. As she has been contacted by many media persons just after the news shocked the whole nation. Earlier in 2019, Sushant has admitted in front of the media about their relationship. Keeping their relationship private, he was in a hurry to marry Jalebi actress- Rhea Chakraborty but she wants to take things slow.
According to many reports surfacing the internet, actor Rhea Chakraborty was seen outside the gym with Sushant on March 11 before lockdown. Sources suggest that she visited him the night before his attempt to suicide.
Well, this was Sushant’s second relationship after ending his 6 years long relationship with Ankita Lokhande. Ankita Lokhande is a B-town actress, also acted in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released in 2019.
Last week, Rajput had expressed shock and grief at the passing of his former manager Disha Salian. The PR executive had committed suicide on June 8, when she jumped off from a 14-storied building in Mumbai’s Malad area.
His Early Life and Career
Sushant Singh was born in Bihar’s Purnea district. Before entering the world of acting he was pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. He was also the National Olympiad winner in 2003. He was a bright student. But soon joining theatre and drama he left his studies. It was the same year he came to Mumbai for acting in 2002 when his beloved mother passed away which shook him a lot. But he never stopped learning.
Sushant Singh Rajput made his debut and bagged an award-winning performance in Zee TV’s popular TV show Pavitra Rishta (2009–11). He then continued his hard-work and was soon offered his first debut film in Kai Po Che! (2013) – for which he received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
He then starred many movies since then – Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013 with Parineeti Chopra, action thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy in 2015, as a supporting role in PK in 2014. Followed by these Sushant’s starring in the biopic movie- M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016 entered Rs 100 Cr Club. For his performance, he received his first nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. His recently released commercially successful films are Raabta (2017), Kedarnath (2018), and Chhichhore (2019).

The exact time of his death is yet unknown. His last picture (dead) is surfacing online depicting the red scar on his neck. The housekeeping staff is being questioned. Body culture will be done soon after the post mortem is completed. Details will be updated once the reports are out.
