OnePlus a Chinese smartphone company whose top-notch products are little less known outside the tech-savvy niche has reportedly entered the U.S. market on this Monday. OnePlus is backed by the American local companies such as the mobile chip making giant (QCOM.O) and one of the major mobile operators in the US, T-Mobile US Inc.
The incursion of the 5-year-old smartphone brand OnePlus has come to the U.S. after the major mobile carriers of the U.S. Verizon and AT&T have turned down the previously planned launch of the OnePlus smartphone in order to work the Huawei’s high-end honor devices to face the pressure from the U.S. government as they consider Huawei as a security risk.
The authorities of the United States of America has also banned the companies briefly from selling their good to ZTE as ZTE was caught while shipping the technology of the U.S. to North Korea and Iran by violating the sanctions of the U.S.
Mark Warner, the Senator if the U.S. has responded to Reuters’ email “In view of the cooperation between the Chinese government and other Chinese telecommunications companies, we should pay attention to new Chinese telecom suppliers when they try to enter the domestic market.” According to Warner, there might be a huge security concern similar to what happened with ZTE and Huawei.
But the alliance of OnePlus has reportedly announced during an event in New York on Monday which ensured much business relation between US.-China which also included the advanced technologies which are moving forward in spite of the rising trade war between the United States and China.
The network service provider T-Mobile has shared that it will launch the acclaimed smartphone OnePlus 6T exclusively on the stores of the carrier on 1st of November. The phone will be sold with a starting price of $549.
