After the third season of the show ended with a cliffhanger in which she stopped breathing at a weight loss center and had to be rushed to the hospital because of her health problems, viewers were worried about the 36-year-old.
At the start of the fourth season of the show, it was clear that Tammy Slaton’s weight was a serious health problem. Her brother said that she needed surgery or she could die, which made it clear that she needed to lose weight.

In the most recent season of the TLC show, Tammy Slaton reached her goal weight of 534 pounds after dropping from 717 pounds. She said she was proud of herself.

Tammy found love with Caleb Willingham, 39, whom she married at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. This is despite the fact that Tammy has had health problems over the years.
