Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor Lautner figured out a way to tell their names apart, but which Taylor Lautner came up with it?
It’s safe to say that not many couples in the world have the same name, but if two Taylors fall in love, it could be hard to figure out whose mail belongs to whom.
Taylor Lautner, who played Jacob Black in the Twilight movies, tied the knot with Taylor Lautner last year in November after making their relationship public in 2018.
During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the actor made fun of the fact that he and his wife both had the name, saying:
[I was] like, are you into this last name? Because we already share one name. So it’s gonna be extra complicated. We’re literally going to be the same person. We either keep it super simple or super complicated.
It seems like the two have found a way to separate themselves. Which makes it easier to refer to each other and also makes it easier for anyone to get their attention.
Based on their Instagram names, the Twilight star goes by Taylor, and his wife now goes by Tay, which seems pretty simple but is probably necessary.
Taylor and Tay posted a few photos of their wedding on Instagram after it was over. It looked like the event, which took place at Epoch Estate Wines outside of Paso Robles, California, was a beautiful one.
Captioning one post, Taylor wrote:
The ceremony was something we’ve been dreaming of for a long time. Along with the help of our wedding planners, we put in a lot of thought designing what exactly we wanted for this monumental moment and it came together even better than we had imagined.
The colors surrounding us at this time of year are exactly why we love the Fall season so much. In an effort to provide shade and intimacy we installed a wooden truss system and semi sheer white draping, to create a relaxing and partially shaded ceremony location. White florals and lush greenery trailed up the columns of the wooden structure and down the ceremony aisle.
Tay is a registered nurse who finished her schooling in 2019. She thanked her then-boyfriend in public for helping her while she was in school.
She penned:
Where to even begin… Thank you for encouraging me when I felt like quitting. Thank you for all the meals you’d made me when I was too busy studying. Thank you for quizzing me and trying to pronounce medical terms and abbreviations. Thank you for your calming hugs when I would be getting an anxiety attack.
Thank you for supporting me endlessly. You mean the world to me & I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.
It looks like Taylor Lautner and Taylor Lautner are very happy with each other.
