A video has been found that shows part of the attack. In the video, one man keeps hitting Tekashi 6ix9ine while the rapper tries to protect his face.
A group of men beat Tekashi 6ix9ine badly in a gym in South Florida. His injuries were so bad that an ambulance had to take him to the hospital.
Lance Lazzaro, the lawyer for Tekashi 6ix9ine said that the rapper was in the sauna at a LA Fitness on Tuesday when he was attacked by several men out of the blue.
Lazzaro says that Tekashi 6ix9ine tried to fight off the other people, but there were too many of them, so they beat him up and then ran away. Lance says that 6ix9ine didn’t have any security with him when the attack happened.
Staff at the gym heard the noise and told a manager right away. Then, the police and EMS were called, and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
A source got a picture of Tekashi from the hospital. In it, you can see the cuts and swelling on his face where he was hurt. It is also said that his jaw, ribs, and back were hurt.
Lazzaro says that the next step is for him to call the Feds to make sure that 6ix9ine gets the help he needs. One thing to remember is that he got out of federal prison early because he helped the police catch some of his fellow gang members and put them in jail.
It’s not clear yet if the attack on the gym had anything to do with Tekashi’s decision to help.
