A woman was arrested in Electra, Texas, last week after she was said to have left buckets full of “human s—-” in front of a police station.
The strange affidavit for an arrest warrant comes from Law&Crime, which says that an officer at the department saw “someone put something” in front of the building on or around November 10. When the officer went outside to find out what was going on, he allegedly saw a person walking back to their SUV “in an all-white HAZMAT suit with a yellow mask.”
He attempted to ask what they were doing and a female stated that the buckets were human s— and she was dropping them off
reads the report, which adds she then got into her vehicle and drove off.
After watching the video, Lt. Christopher Kelmer “recognized the voice” as that of Mindy Stephens, with whom he had supposedly talked earlier in the day about “buckets of “human s—-.”
The police then called the City Administrator, who is also a fireman, because Stephens is said to be married to the town’s Assistant Fire Chief. The police station and the volunteer fire department both have the same address.
[The City Administrator] stated he would call and request she come pick up the buckets or that she could face charges.
The Administrator ended up calling a wastewater worker to pick up the unwanted gift because Stephens “called him and refused to get the buckets herself,” the report says.
She is said to have said that it “wasn’t her problem.”
Police disagreed and charged her with illegally dumping more than five pounds but less than 500 pounds, which is a Class B misdemeanor. The affidavit says, “Mindy left three 5-gallon buckets with about 15 gallons of human waste, which is about 50 pounds.”
On December 1, the arrest warrant was carried out, and she was booked the same day. Stephens was released on a $2,000 bond on December 2.
