The Montauk crew will be back for the final outing in The Affair Season 5. It is recently confirmed that The Affair will be back with its Season 5. Yes, it is happening for sure. Sadly, it is going to be the last season of the show. So savor each moment of it.

Sarah Treem has always envisioned this as a five-season series, and we will be fascinated to see where she takes her talented cast and all of us next year in its climactic season.
The fans have taken quite a journey with the past seasons of The Affair. It also got the Golden Globes award for the category of best drama during season 1. However, the show struggled a bit after that and it returned back to form in The Affair Season 4.
When will The Affair Season 5 release/air?
No official date for the release of the show has been out yet. But looking at the previous seasons, some predictions can be made. Previous seasons came out in fall and Season 4 came out in summers. So The Affair Season 5 is expected to be out by anytime between June to October.
Who will you see in the cast of The Affair Season 5?
There are big casting changes scheduled for The Affair Season 5. There will be several additions to the show’s finale including Jennifer Jason Leigh. This announcement was made by Gary Levine at the 2019 TCA winter press. Her role has not been specified yet.
Leigh is known for her Single White Female role. She has also acted in the films The Hateful Eight and Anomalisa. Anna Paquin will also join the finale season of the show.
She will portray the role of Joanie Lockhart’s adult version. This is huge and the fans will definitely be happy to hear this. Further, as per reports, you won’t get to see Joshua Jackson as a series regular this season.
