Hartford, Connecticut is home to Willie Ortiz. He is a wonderful man who has been feeding stray cats and watching over them for the last 22 years. He is a scrap metal collector and spends most of his doing his job to earn a living.
He somehow manages to take out the time to give love and offer care to stray kittens and cats. Every day and every night he brings food for the cats and feeds them.
His interest in taking care of cats began with a single starving cat. He expresses, “People were pushing it away, and I could see it needed help. So I said to the Lord, ‘I know these cats can’t understand my accent, but I need to do something,’”
GoFundMe, a page was set up by a generous woman named, Kathleen Schlentz to help Willie raise fund to feed the cats. The page collected a good amount in a very less time and kitties got what they needed.
