Only three episodes are remaining from the current season. Previously, Red confronted several terrible betrayals and truths. Dembe was not ready for it.
Has Dembe left The Blacklist?
It is not confirmed at the moment if Dembe has left the show. Actor Hisham Tawfiq, NBC hasn’t made an official moment regarding it. In Episode 18, Dembe was still alive, so there is a huge possibility that he will make a comeback at some point. Maybe fans will have to wait till the seventh season to find out about Dembe.
The Blacklist Season 6: Did we miss a clue somewhere?
Dembe and Red have been close friends for years. He was Red’s former bodyguard as well. Liz turned him to the authorities, which almost had him executed. Director Lisa Robinson said,
I feel like it goes really deep because he is extremely connected to Liz and also to Dembe, and this is sort of bringing the people he cares about the most forward into conflict.
It will be a challenging moment for Red regarding his relationship with Dembe and Liz. Even Dembe could feel this change towards the end. He feels that something is coming. After spending some alone time and talking to Dom, he decided to reconcile with Dembe.
Dembe was expecting that Red would kill him for revenge, but instead, he forgave him. He really missed his friend and knew that he wouldn’t do any wrong. But Dembe refused Red’s forgiveness and left.
