The Bleach Hell arc has been highly anticipated by fans ever since the revelation of the ‘Gates of Hell’ in the manga. The arc is solely dedicated to Ichigo and his companions discovering the Hell world. Much to their disappointment, it never happened, neither in the manga nor the anime. With the anime still ongoing, will the series be able to get the Bleach Hell arc?
Read on to find out more.
What is the Bleach Hell arc?
In the Bleach manga, there is no specific arc or storyline called “Hell World.” However, there are references to Hell in the Bleach universe. In Ryōgo Narita’s novel “Bleach: Can’t Fear Your Own World,” it is revealed that Hell predates the separation of Soul Society, the Human World, and Hueco Mundo. The novel explores the concept of Hell and its connection to other realms in the Bleach universe.
The manga never had a dedicated Bleach Hell Arc during its 15-year run. However, there are instances where characters venture into the underworld and encounter elements related to Hell. In order to make up for this, a movie called “Bleach: Hell Verse” was released on August 27, 2011.
However, despite the potential for an epic and satisfying story, the movie fell short of delivering a truly captivating experience.
One of the main issues with Bleach: Hell Verse was its pacing. The movie rushed through key plot points and character developments, causing them to feel underdeveloped and lacking in emotional depth. This left fans craving more substance and connection to the characters they had grown to love. The Hell Arc, which had the potential to be a thrilling and meaningful exploration of the afterlife, felt disappointingly shallow in the movie adaptation.
Bleach Hell Verse is just mediocre, bad story but better action than the other movies. And defenitely saw a glimpse of Tite Kubo's trolling

The portrayal of hell in the movie is disappointing, as it lacks the dark and eerie atmosphere that made it intriguing in the manga. The movie fails to explore the complex themes and emotions tied to the concept of Hell in the Bleach universe. Additionally, key elements, such as the unique powers and abilities of the characters, are overlooked or poorly adapted.
Fans were left with more yearning to get a good dive into the Hell world and to explore more concepts related to it. With the Bleach Thousand Year Blood War anime airing anew, this might be a chance for the creators to make things right and give fans a few episodes exploring the hell world or a dedicated Bleach Hell Arc.
Will Bleach anime get a dedicated Hell Arc?
Fans have been clamoring for an arc solely dedicated to exploring the underworld ever since the doors to Hell made their appearance in Bleach. However, the decision to include a whole arc exploring the Hell world in the Bleach anime ultimately lies with the creators and production team.
If Kubo continues the Hell arc after TYBW then Bleach will take over every other anime in this

Much to fans’ disappointment, there is no news regarding the Bleach Hell arc in the ongoing Thousand Year Blood War Arc Anime by the creators or the mangaka so far. All fans can do is wait and hope that the creators will listen to their wishes and give at least a few episodes dedicated to the Bleach hell arc.
