After an extensive casting search, The Crown Season 3 finally chose its Diana Spencer. Emma Corrin will play the role of Lady Diana. In the series, Corrina will be the future Princess of Wales.

The character will be introduced in the fourth season instead of the third one. The creator Peter Morgan said that Emma impressed all of them instantly. She is talented and is innocent and beautiful, just perfect for young Diana’s part. He added,

Corrin is about to make debut in the movie ‘Misbehavior’. The historical drama is about the story of the Women’s Liberation Movement. The women group wanted to disrupt the 1970 Miss World beauty competition in London. She is also about to make a debut on the TV side in ‘Pennyworth’, EPIX Batman drama by Warner Bros. The prequel tells the story of Butler Alfred Pennyworth.
The actress said that she is not only excited but really honoured to be a part of ‘The Crown’. The third season will release later this year. Olivia Colman will replace Claire Foy and take the role of Queen Elizabeth, while Tobias Menzies will play Prince Philip’s role. Matt Smith played this role previously. Helena Bonham Carter will play Princess Margaret’s role, instead of Vanessa Kirby.
The Crown Season 3 will mainly focus on the Wilson era. The fourth season’s main focus will be Thatcher and Diana. Ted Satan’s, the Netflix Content Chief, said that the show will go on for at least six seasons. Currently, the third and fourth seasons are officially confirmed.
