Hardy Boyz defeated The Usos after Jimmy and Jey went for a double Uce splash. Jeff rolled out before they could land on him, and Matt Hardy was then quick enough to hit Jey Uso with the Twist of Fate, which was followed by a Swanton Bomb from Jeff Hardy for the win.
Following This Hardy Boyz vs The Usos match, the Hardy Boyz became the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions for the first time. Overall, this is eighth Tag Title reign for the Hardy Boyz in the WWE. In the past they’ve won the WWE/World Tag Team Titles six times in their previous run with the company. They are also one-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.
Lars Sullivan Makes SmackDown Debut after The Hardy Boyz vs The Usos Match
Following the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The Hardy Boyz vs The Usos, Lars Sullivan made his SmackDown debut. He attacked and laid out both Matt and Jeff Hardy and walked away.
Sullivan had debuted on Raw yesterday, attacking WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle and laying him out. It will be interesting to see which brand Lars Sullivan is drafted to on next week’s superstar shakeup.
