If rumors are to be believed, the post-apocalyptic survival horror video game developed by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us 2, is getting its release date delayed for PS5.

The Last of Us 2 release swapped with another game
According to some reports, two of Sony’s exclusive games for its consoles, “The Last of Us 2” and “Death Stranding” are switching launch dates. Jason Schreier, the editor of Kotaku, has stated that ‘The Last of Us Part 2’ which was originally planned for a late 2019 launch, will now release in 2020. Death Stranding another Sony exclusive title is set to replace the game’s launch date.
The Death Stranding release date is scheduled for November 8, 2019. The release date announcement was posted on Twitch.

It is expected that the highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive game will make its way to markets in February 2020. Some believe that the game will launch alongside the PS5.
Everything New In Last of Us 2
As far as gameplay is concerned, The Last of Us 2, unlike the previous game, can only be played with one character i.e Ellie.
The second iteration is set five years after the original Last of Us and is based in Seattle. The game is expected to mainly focus on “revenge.”(revenge for Joel’s death maybe?). In TLOU 2, it is expected that the old stealth system is being changed and is completely getting an overhaul.
Co-director of the game, Kurt Margenau, has already confirmed that the new installment will feature multiplayer support.
Ian Alexander (voice actor), the person who plays lev in the game, recently described his experience as exhilarating, inspiring, life-changing.
