The Sims franchise of games has been around since the turn of the millennium and over the past 19 years, four major Sims games have released. The latest version of Sims released in 2014. Given that it has been 5 years now, fans are already demanding for some sort of a release deadline on Sims 5 now.

The Sims 5 Release Date: When Will the Fifth Game in the Series Come Out?
Games in the Sims franchise tend to come out at a gap of every 5 years. Sims 2 released in 2004, Sims 3 came out in 2009, Sims 4 came out in 2014 – and now that we’re already in 2019, most of the gamers were expecting the Sims 5 to release sometime this year. However, as we enter the final quarter of the year, there’s still been no update on this game.
Fans dread that the company might actually be counting five years from November 2017, which is when Sims 4 released for XBOX and PlayStation gamers. If you count five years from thereon, Sims 5 might actually release in 2022, which is almost an 8-year wait for gamers who started playing the game in 2014.
