During a recent appearance on a popular US podcast, Cole Sprouse made a surprising revelation about his twin brother Dylan’s behavior during their school years. According to Cole, Dylan was a “huge bully” in elementary and middle school and would physically beat up other students. Cole admitted they were both “d***s” then, but Dylan was particularly aggressive.
The Sprouse twins rose to fame at a young age, sharing the role of Adam Sandler‘s son in the 1999 movie Big Daddy. They later became known for their positions on the Disney Channel show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Throughout their acting careers, they had to balance school and work.
Cole also noted that the characters on Zack & Cody were based on their real personalities. He shared that he would often apologize for Dylan’s behavior towards others, just like his character did on the show.

When asked if Dylan would be upset with him for sharing this information, Cole stated that everyone knew his brother had been a bully. Dylan himself has previously opened up about his behavior, saying that he was “mostly a bully” due to personal issues he was dealing with at home.
The twins later took a break from acting to attend college, with Cole studying humanities and archaeology and Dylan studying video game design. However, they both returned to the entertainment industry in recent years, with Cole starring in Riverdale and Dylan appearing in various low-budget films.
It was interesting to hear Cole’s perspective on their childhood and how it influenced their later careers. Despite Dylan’s past behavior, both brothers matured and moved on from those problematic years.
