Netflix always takes time to judge a show’s success before giving the nod for another season, so it took some time for Umbrella Academy as well. Well, there was no doubt about the show’s success. An announcement was made last month only about the follow-up season of the show. The fans were truly delighted to hear about it.
The filming of the second season has begun already, and Ellen also shared some pictures on Instagram revealing the potential storylines and characters of the show. She posted pictures along with Klaus Hargreeves, Allison and Luther Hargreeves.

What to expect from Season 2?
Sources suggest that Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) will also return along with his siblings. Earlier in May, the Twitter page of the show teased the script of the first episode, and since then, fans have been making speculations about it. The first episode titled “Right Back Where We Started” goes back to the time when the siblings were just children.
The Umbrella Academy fans were curious about Ben Hargreeves’ childhood. The viewers may also get to see Allison and Luther reunite after the two parted ways. The story revolves around Number Five’s venture into the past along with his siblings for assassinating John F Kennedy.
