WWE Hall of Famer and Legend Jim Ross has been a critical part of the company for most of the attitude era and the years that followed. However, his 26-year-old contract finally expired today. While pointing out this occassion, Good ol’ JR also pointed out that The Undertaker documentary is finally being produced!
The Undertaker Documentary has been something that fans had been awaiting for a long time. It is now official. Let us take a closer look:
The Undertaker Documentary: JR Confirms it Via Tweet
Jim Ross confirmed it on Twitter by tweeting:
Big day…it’s the final day of my contract with @WWE after 26 years. A WWE camera crew arriving at my home today to record for an @undertaker documentary. I’m honored to be a part of it. Great way to exit.
He also attached the following picture of The Undertaker (most likely from his days as ‘Big Evil’ undertaker in the 2000s).
The Undertaker Documentary: What to Expect
Fans had been awaiting a documentary on The Undertaker for quite a long time now. The deadman is famous for never ‘breaking character’. This documentary would provide a great insight into The Undertaker beyond the ring.
Mark Calaway’s real life is as mysterious as his in-ring character. With legends such as JR contributing in this documentary, we expect it to be a complete highlight of The Undertaker’s career which has spanned over three decades!
When Will WWE’s The Undertaker Documentary Release?
As of now there is no official date or even an update from WWE about The Undertaker Documentary. However, given that WWE likes to release high-profile documentaries and shows right after major events, we expect The Undertaker Documentary to air right after Wrestlemania 35 or after the Raw after Wrestlemania.
