Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead has come ahead to rescue The Walking Dead Season 4. The fourth season of the game is titled “The Walking Dead: The Final Season”. This will bring a conclusion to the story of epic struggle and survival on an Earth ruled by zombies.
The layoffs at Telltale put a conclusion to the Walking Dead story in September. All ongoing projects by Telltale have been placed on hold and the company has shut down.
The Walking Dead will now be owned by Skybound Entertainment
Skybound Entertainment, owned by Robert Kirkman will now own the rights, and will ensure its completion. The work on the final episodes has been recently started by Skybound and as per a statement issued recently, fans may have some good news.
“We’re excited to let you know that many of the talented, passionate team members who originally worked on the game are resuming development efforts today!”
Skybound also stated that those fans who already have The Walking Dead Season 4 will not have to pay more for new ones. They now they’ll come via Skybound.
“If you already purchased Season Four, you will NOT have to pay again; future episodes will be available to download as soon as they are released via your original point of purchase.”

Telltale’s Walking Dead Season 4 release date
The Walking Dead: The Final Season by Telltale will end with the fourth episode titled “Take us Back.” It will premiere on 26th March.
The initial 3 episodes of The Walking Dead season 4 are out on Xbox, PC and PS4.
