TikTok star Waffler69, whose real name is Taylor, has passed away from what is suspected to be a heart attack. His brother, Clayton, has explained that the content creator called his mother when he started feeling discomfort. However, things took a turn for the worse and Taylor called an ambulance. Tragically, he died at a hospital in Louisiana. Moreover, Clayton explained that the TikTok celebrity’s father and grandfather suffered from genetic heart problems. He was only 33 years old.
Waffler69 was mainly known for eating nostalgic foods and throwing his viewers into memory lane. He would often place these food items on random VHS tapes for added emotion. Taylor’s unique content helped him get 1.7 million followers on TikTok and boasted almost 32.8 million likes across the platform. The TikTok star also had 112,000 followers on Instagram.
A GoFundMe page has been started to cover the funeral costs. The description reads, “Hey guys, this is Clayton, Taylor’s brother. Im not sure what im doing. My mother has paid the creamation which was 1500. Im not really sure how much i should be asking for let alone SHOULD be asking anyone of anything. If he has touched your heart in someway, Me and my family would appreciate it.” The goal was to raise $13,500 and the page has already roped in $14,445.
TikTok star passes away at 33, heart attack suspected
Taylor’s brother Clayton revealed the tragic news. He said, “He passed away around 10 pm on January 11, 2023, of a presumed heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital and I wanna say like an hour, an hour and a half later he passed away. Now, this is still pretty new, I don’t know what’s gonna be happening in the near future with any of that, but I thought I should get on TikTok and let everybody know.” Clayton gets emotional and asks Taylor’s fans to do something for the lost talent. He says, “So please keep his legacy alive, watch his content that he does have out. Keep him alive. He loved making people happy. I will see you guys in the next one, thank you.”
