Timothy “Tim” Reynolds, born on October 30, 1955, was an integral part of the ‘Yellowstone’ crew. Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, Tim initially pursued a career as a stockbroker before discovering his true passion in the entertainment industry.
As an electrician and best boy electric, he played a vital role in creating the magic behind the scenes. Tim’s journey began in 1994 when he joined the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 99 as a journeyman stagehand. From there, he ventured into the world of film, working on various productions.
Tim’s expertise as a lighting technician and electrician shone in numerous acclaimed films. He lent his skills to movies like ‘The Lone Ranger,’ ‘Joe Bell,’ and ‘Need for Speed,’ contributing to the visual allure of these blockbusters.
Tim’s influence extended to the TV realm as well, where he worked on the sets of ‘Wild Horses,’ ‘The Hollow Point,’ ‘Hereditary,’ and ‘Nightlight.’ Notably, Tim’s journey with ‘Yellowstone‘ began right from its inaugural episode, and he remained an essential part of the team until the fourth season.

Tragically, Timothy Reynolds passed away on August 24, 2022. While the cause of his death remains private, his impact on those around him speaks volumes. Tim’s legacy lives on through his sister Shirley Reynolds, step-son Seth Neily and his wife Sierra, daughter Kistina and her husband Sean Pressler, sons Anthony Reynolds, Timothy Reynolds Jr., and Atticus Reynolds, as well as several grandsons. Colleague and friend Caleb Rasak fondly remembers Tim as a “best friend and a father figure” who shaped lives and relationships, leaving an indelible mark on the ‘Yellowstone’ family.
