Titans Season 2 was confirmed even before the first season landed on the DC streaming service.
Executive producer on Titans Geoff Johns revealed at the New York Comic Con last year, “We’re doing season two already… To be able to get a season two greenlit now means we just get to keep talking about crazy ideas… We already know the story.”
Its story is based on the character of Dick Grayson’s iteration of Robin. This Robin has issues with Batman, and goes on to (accidentally) assemble his own team. The first season was received warmly by fans and now fans can’t wait for the Titans Season 2. So what does the second season of Titans hold for us?
Here’s all we know so far about Titans Season 2:
Titans Season 2 Trailer? When does it drop?
Although Titans Season 2 was announced long back, we still don’t have a trailer for you. However, that being said, we’re expecting the official Titans Season 2 trailer to drop in a few weeks now.
How To Watch Titans Season 2 Online:
If you live outside the United States, you won’t be able to watch Titans Season 2 on the Dc Streaming service. However, the first season is now streaming on Netflix and in all probability, that’s where you will be able to watch Titans Season 2 too.
Titans Season 2 Premiere: When will it release?
There’s nothing official on this yet, but we do know that those who have DC Universe account will get it first.
The first season landed on the DC site back in October 2018. So, if DC follows the same pattern, we should be able to watch Titans Season 2 towards the end of 2019. While those with Netflix will get to have a peek in 2020.
Titans Season 2: Cast
This show hasn’t seen to hold back to drop new faces into the mix. Superboy actor Conner Kent came up during Titans Season one finale after escaping from a Cadmus Laboratory in Metropolis.
“It wasn’t totally planned from day one – or maybe it was in [Geoff Johns and Akiva Goldsman’s] heads, but they didn’t tell me,” the show’s executive producer Greg Walker told EW when asked if it was always the plan to introduce Superboy and his dog Krypto when they did.
“It definitely wasn’t something that we thought of until the very end of filming Titans.
“I think we knew that would be a direction that would be exciting for the fans and a tease that would be interesting for us as well, and that was the best spot to put it in.”
executive producer Greg Walker told EW when he was asked if that was the initial plan to bring Superboy and Krypton.
Apart from this, we expect the original cast to return in Titans Season 2: Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Teagan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Kory Anders and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy. Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly played Hawk and Dove on the show.
We don’t know if Beast Boy’s family, Doom Patrol will return in Titans Season 2. We do expect to see Conor Leslie as Wonder Girl. She showed up in the eighth episode of the season. Sherilyn Fenn played Raven’s mother Angela and Seamus Denver plays Trigon. We expect Trigon to be the main antagonist of the second season of Titans.
The Batman of Titans is played by stuntmen Maxim Savarias and Alain Moussi.
Titans Season 2 Plot: What Happens Next?
There are still many fans who think Titans season one should have ended with a big showdown between Trigon and Titans. However, Trigon uses his powers to make Dick think that he has killed Batman and that now he is under Trigon’s thumb.
However, that didn’t happen which means that Titans Season 2 will focus on the team fighting to save their comrade. Newcomers Superboy and Krypton will also have a significant role.
