Tokyo Revengers, a much-talk-about anime, wrapped up with season 2 recently. So, Tokyo Revengers Season 3 still has some time to air.
Tokyo Revengers garnered a lot of attention during its premiere of Season 1. It had a promising future with great storyline and action sequences. There were gripping elements like Time Travelling in the series. However, this still couldn’t hold on to the fan following. Fans seem disappointed with the series especially after Season 2 aired.
Tokyo Revengers Season 3 might fail. Here is everything you need to know about Season 3.
Tokyo Revengers Season 3 might disappoint the fans: Here is Why (Spoiler Alert!!!)
Tokyo Revenger is a plot revolving around Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old part-time worker with a bleak outlook on life, who learns that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, has perished in a feud with the Tokyo Manji Gang. Someone pushes Takemichi off the subway platform the next day on his way back from a part-time job. He leaps back in time twelve years as he is about to be hit. He has returned to the year he was dating Hinata, and Takemichi decides to do whatever he can to prevent her death.
Despite how fascinating the plot sounds, the manga series couldn’t keep up with the progress and kept disappointing the fans. The time jump concept wasn’t properly exploited in the series and was introduced with plenty of loopholes.
Not only this, fans felt Season 2 had lousy writing and was rushed in the end. The same goes for the manga series. There is a happy ending at the end of the series, however, fans are heavily disappointed about how terrible the writing was, and the happy ending seemed forced without a proper explanation of any character’s backstories.
On Twitter, fans criticized how poorly the manga’s narrative developed and how disappointed they were with it.

If this trend continues and the anime series follows the manga series, Tokyo Revengers Season 3 will not be remembered by fans. Fans were already dissatisfied with the anime streaming on Disney+ because the promotion for the anime wasn’t handled correctly.
